ScoutDesk is built on one uncomplicated promise: the app does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Everything you create lives only on your device. Here's exactly what that means.
Nothing. There are no accounts and no requests for your name, email, phone, or login. We don't collect location, device identifiers, or usage analytics. Player profiles, ratings, notes, viewing histories, and photos are created and held entirely on your device.
Because we never collect anything, there is nothing for us to use, profile, mine, or sell. We don't analyze your scouting database or share it with anyone. Rating, skill maps, trends, comparisons, search and filtering all run locally, on-device.
All of your data is stored locally in the app's private storage on your device. There is no ScoutDesk cloud, no remote backup, and no server that receives your information. Your shortlist never leaves your hands unless you export or share it yourself.
ScoutDesk includes no third-party analytics, advertising networks, trackers, or data-harvesting SDKs. Nothing embedded in the app reports your behavior back to us or anyone else. The app simply does its job without phoning home.
Keeping information on-device is the strongest privacy measure: data that is never transmitted can't be intercepted or exposed in a server breach. Your records are protected by your device's own passcode, biometrics, and OS safeguards. Keep your device locked and updated.
ScoutDesk does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since the app collects no data at all from any user, it is inherently aligned with the spirit of COPPA and similar protections for minors.
You have complete control at all times. Add, edit, or delete any profile, note, rating, or photo right inside the app. With no accounts or external backups, deleting the app permanently removes all associated data from your device. What you remove is gone for good.
We may update this policy to reflect improvements to the app or changes in applicable requirements. When we do, we'll revise the Effective Date above. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
